It is understandable as to why they can not do it because that is a lot of weight and without proper guidance, you will have a very hard time. Having the right kind of goals help with not only making sure that fat comes off but with getting you to think positive. Saying and thinking negative things while dieting might cause you to either not the lose the weight you wanted, or get you to stop because of feeling miserable due to the thoughts going on in your mind. If you start looking at the numbers and how much you need to lose it might make you feel depressed, more so if you have a goal of losing a huge amount in a short time.
Before going any further try and focus your mind on short term goals instead of the big ones. Just losing a couple pounds each week can really help you out. If you lose a pound, or two then by the end of the month you might have lost up to around 20 pounds or more. When you are feeling down about losing the weight then it often times leads to stress and that can cause a lot of other problems to come up. If you feel stressed out try and do some deep breathing so your muscles become relaxed. Once you start feeling peace inside then figure out the things you need to do in order to lose those pounds each week. It can be something very simple such as switching to water instead of having soft drinks with your meal or going for a walk each morning for at least 30 minutes. Nothing has to be hard or difficult, and the best part is you will not have to spend a lot of money trying to shed it if you just stick with the simple and easy methods. Tracking how much you lose might help but with others it just makes them get upset at what they are not losing. If you find yourself becoming frustrated then try only weighing once a week, or every couple of weeks. Keep in mind that sometimes you might lose a couple and then gain it back if you weigh on different parts of the day. If you weigh in the morning then the next time you weight should be in the morning, and the same with at night. If you gained a pound or so do not worry because it could just be fluid and to make sure that it does not come back increase your walks but not very much, you should only have to add on another five minutes or so in order to lose that pound.
